The 50-year period of 1956 to 2006 was the Mount Carmel era in God's Seventh-day Adventist Church. Today, the words of the prophet Elijah, whom God translated, echo in our ears once more. "How long halt ye between two opinions? if the Lord be God, follow him but if Baal, then follow him." (1 Kings 18:21)
Never, in any book outside Scripture and the Spirit of Prophecy, has a volume been written which has set forth so clearly the manifest departure from God's pure truth by His church. The chapters are brief, only one exceeding two pages. But each chapter, like the Elijah message, is an urgent call for reform in the power of the Holy Spirit. It is time to open the eyes of the spiritually blind. Under God's guidance it is the authors' prayer that this book will achieve this aim in the hearts of sincere believers as each prepares for translation.
